Safety Recommendations

When learning to babywear, be sure to practice in a safe environment.

We recommend using a mirror or having someone else available to assist you while you are learning. You should always follow the instructions provided and double check to make sure your baby feels secure.

Always make sure that the ends of the wrap are secure. If you have extra fabric, retie around your waist or tuck it up inside to avoid tripping on it or catching it on something. This could otherwise be hazardous to you and your baby.

Always make sure that your baby is secure. If at any time your baby feels as if they have shifted or become loose, stop and re wrap your baby. Remember that you are carrying your baby. Use caution when walking through doors, reaching to pick something up, turning around, or anything else that could cause you to bump/injure your baby.

Always use extra caution if you are cooking or around an open flame. You must be acutely aware of the location of your baby’s arms and legs at all times. Also be aware of the ends of the wrap to ensure they do not get too close to a flame.

Always remember, you are ultimately responsible for the safety of your baby. Please Pay attention to your baby at all times.
